Turkey Day

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday. It was a beautiful day here and we began the day by going for a run with our neighbors. I have been wanting to put pictures up some of the views we see running around here on base, they are gorgeous!

We had a neighborhood Thanksgiving dinner with 4 other families on our street. Rob and I did the turkey and stuffing, and everyone made yummy side dishes. As always, we ate way too much, but everything was so delicious. I'm still not too used to be away from home on holidays but sharing Thanksgiving with our friends here was great too.

Here is a few pics of Ava in her cute Thanksgiving outfit, which was smeared with potatoes after we were done eating. It was the first time she had potatoes, she seemed to enjoy them.
