Yesterday we went on a fun, but sort of scary hike with some friends. It was to the Makapu'u Lighthouse on the east side of Oahu. It was in the low 70s, which is great conditions for a hike, especially with a 21lb baby on my back, but it was SO windy. We had to brace ourselves on the several occassions that a big gust came.
This time of year Whales from the North Pacific come down to the islands and can be spotted from this point, but unfortunetely I didn't see any. It was a great hike though and I will definetely being doing it again, hopefully on a clear, not so windy day.Me, Ava, Jessica, Sarah and Elena, all trying not to blow off the cliff.
