Rainy Day

Hopefully today was one of the last rainy days in the 40s we will have for a LONG time.  Ava had to  layer up with her raincoat and umbrella before heading out to the bus stop this morning.  We used to stress walking her there (basically only because all the other neighbors walk their kids out, but Ava is more than capable of walking a few houses down and waiting for the bus).  Now she really enjoys being a big girl and going by herself, and a lot of the other parents are now slacker stay inside parents like me :)
One of the very few things I will miss about cold weather are cute baby hats.  As least I got my fix this winter, time to break out the sun hats!
Big Eyes!

We haven't been doing too much lately.  The kids in the neighborhood have started coming out now that it's regularly getting into the high 50s and 60s again, so Ava and Jake spend most afternoons and weekends outside (when it's not raining).  Jake loves playing with the big boys and they're so nice to him and let him tag along.  He forgets that he's 3 and most of them are 8 or 9; he gets mad when he has to stay behind closer to the house.  I really hope there's lots of boys for him to play with wherever we move to.

Here's a little video of Ava making Reagan laugh.  Yes we let our 6 month old play with hooks.  The reason she is naked is because she gets fussy in the evening and stripping her down to a diaper makes her happy for some reason.  She is going to love Florida in the summer!
Just over a month until the first day the movers start packing us up!
