We have made the decision that we want to move back to NH and be close to our family which is so exciting but still seems unreal after years of hoping to get to the spot that we are at now here in Florida. We listed our house on July 1st and are hoping to be making some moves in the next year. Rob has been on leave all summer and successfully entertained the kids through lots of programs at the library, trips to the Y and bowling alley. He has 2 weeks left and then it's back to work and back to school for the kids.
We brought Ava in to the doctor for a mole that was bothering her and while Reagan was at the doctors appointment the pediatrician took a look at her mole on her forehead that she's had since she was a baby and referred us to a dermatologist. A little over a week later and she had the mole biopsied which was actually a pretty sad procedure and one of the hardest things I've had to do with any of the kids. We had to hold her down while they numbed the area with a shot and then basically removed her mole and stitched it back up. It was so sad, she was yelling "mommy uppy" for me to pick her up and then screaming "no scissors" when she saw them sewing her back up. Thankfully her forgiveness was bought with Dora bandaids and a whole lot of gummy worms. She has been a trooper the past week though and is having her stitches removed tomorrow before we head up to NH. Hopefully while we are up there we get good news that all is well with her when her results come back.
Here's a pre-biopsy mole shot. I'm going to miss her little Reagan signature dot on her forehead.
Bunny is always around for moral support!
Then there's these 3! They have been in summer camp and Jake and Reagan's preschool the past 2 weeks and have loved every day of it. This pictures was taken on crazy hair day.
Over the 4th of July weekend we went to Naples and met up with Rob's sister and her family!
My Mom brought Lilly down in June, we got a babysitter and had a night at Kobe Steakhouse before Camp Hamernik officially began.
We headed back to Palm Harbor on the night of the 4th because I had to work the next day. We had fun with sparklers and watched some good fireworks that our neighbors put on.
A couple days later was Lilly's 7th birthday!
Possibly the sweatiest kids in Florida....
