Another day in Paradise

Today we went to Shark's Cove and Sunset Beach, up on the North Shore. It was a gorgeous day and we got plenty of sun! Ava is sitting up in her own now for the most part, so she enjoys being out of the confines of her stoller and actually being able to sit in the sand. The sand was really soft up there too so we could kind of dig a little hole to put her butt so she doesn't wobble over as much :) She doesn't mind when she falls over which is great, she's a tough chick already!

Rob went snorkeling at Shark's Cove, which isn't known to have any shark's, just lots and lots of fish. Once again, he "borrowed" an underwater camera and took some pics. He's cut his hand pretty good on the reef and was bleeding when he came out of the water, definetely a good thing for him that sharks don't hang out there. That area isn't too baby friendly so we went up the coast a bit to Sunset Beach and set up shop for the day.

On the way up there we stopped at Walmart to buy an umbrella, and Ava is finally able to sit up on her own enough to sit in the front of the cart!!! I may sound a bit too excited about this, but she has been trying to escape out of her infant seat for the past few weeks when I put in the front of the shopping cart, and a lot of them don't hold her infant seat that securely anyway, so this takes away lots of aggravation. She was definetely happy to be sitting up and looking around too, even if it is only Walmart.

FYI...I do realize I'm the biggest dork ever for taking her pic in the Walmart parking lot :)
