Back to the Zoo

This weekend we went to back to the National Zoo.   We've been there a few times now but this by far was the most pleasant visit, there was hardly anyone there and we saw a lot of the animals a lot closer up than ever before.

One of the Pandas was inside to keep warm, he was sitting here just munching away on some bamboo.

 This is an Orangatang crossing over from one of their areas to another.  They cross right over where people are walking, so if they fell they would be on the loose!
