Moving in

After we closed on the house September 5th we camped out for the weekend on air mattresses and sleeping bags.  My Mom was in town for the weekend so she joined us in camping out too.  The day we closed it was down pouring, Rob and I unloaded our cars and I headed back to Clearwater to get Mom and the kids and another car load of stuff.  I was completely drenched by the time the car was loaded up, it was a long walk from the Clearwater rental to the parking lot at that place.  We were so happy to be out of there and into our house though.

On Monday morning the truck pulled up with all our stuff!! Unfortunately a lot of stuff got damaged, probably when it was coming in and out of storage.  Rob has been working on the claim so we can get some of our family room furniture replaced. The tables are in pretty bad shape, especially the coffee table.  At least everything that was damaged is replaceable and still sold at the store we bought it from a couple years ago!

Rob was so excited to get his grill back, he made pulled pork this weekend. It was soooo good!

Jake's room was the first one painted.  Rob did it the weekend before our truck arrived since once Jake's bunk beds are set up we can't really move them again.  Jake was so happy to have his room set up though, I think this move was hardest on him.  He was so confused all summer, he would cry to go home, or go to YiaYia's house (he would cry to go to NH when we were in Naples and vice versa) He just didn't know what was going on.  He's been doing great here and loving his room!

We had our first Friday homemade pizza/movie night!

That's it for now...the girls rooms are almost done and Rob just finished painting our room.  I'll post some more pics later!
