September Birthdays Celebration in Orlando

This weekend Rob surprised us all with a trip to Orlando, one of my favorite places in the world!! We left early Saturday morning and arrived in Orlando a little before lunch time and got started in Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney).  We did some shopping and had some lunch at the  T-Rex Restaurant.  The atmosphere in there was so fun and the food was delicious.

After leaving Disney Spring we checked into our hotel, went swimming for a bit, then headed out to dinner at Medieval Times.  The kids loved it there, and especially loved their light up swords.

 After a fun Saturday night we went to SeaWorld the next day.  Unfortunately it was unbearably hot so we didn't last more than couple hours.  We spent most of our time in the kiddie section where the lines were short.

We headed back to Tampa mid afternoon and were able to catch the end of the Patriots game and get ready for the week.  It was a super fun weekend, but lesson learned - future trips to Orlando will be taken between November and April.  It's so much more enjoyable there when it's not miserably hot out.
