Capitol Hill Adventures

This weekend we went into DC and visited the Botanical Gardens and walked around Capitol Hill.  We usually park at the south end of the National Mall when we go into the city, so walking around the north end gave us some new areas to check out.  Ava has been asking to go to a "flower garden" for the past couple weeks so we started at the Botanical Gardens!

They had a great kids section where the kids could touch a lot of the plants and play in some water fountains.

Then we walked to the Capitol.

Ava and I were both in a fluorescent pink mood when we got dressed this morning.
