Reagan's 2nd Birthday

Last week Reagan turned 2!! We celebrated last weekend by spending the day at Disney, but here's a little Reagan update after her well visit at the doctor and the little party we had for her at home.

She weighed in at 26.19lbs (44th%).  She still doesn't weigh as much as her big brother and big sister when they were each 12 months old! And as you can see from this picture below I don't think either of them had such skinny legs, ever. :) She's 35 inches tall (81st%).  We are pleased to report the doctor doesn't think she needs speech therapy!!!!!!!  She was talking a lot during her appointment and her pediatrician knows the family history well, and she assured me that at least for the moment Reagan is right where she should be with her speech.  We are obviously very excited about that! The doctor also took her off pediasure and whole milk, so hopefully she is going to keep gaining weight on the curve she's on.  We also have to keep an eye on her cafe au lait marks, she has 4 decent size one and one little one.  She will keep having weigh ins throughout the year though which will be good, kids have so many check ups in the first 2 years and then it goes to once a year, so it will be good to have her monitored in between birthdays.

Here she is hanging out at her appointment.

She loved opening her birthday presents! She was able to do it all by herself for the first time, and followed most present with saying "Mine" and putting in a pile away from Ava and Jake.

Playing with her new princess legos.
 Cake time

Playing with her new toys, babies and legos are definitely the favorite.
 Cheese!
We've been talking a lot about potty training with her, one of these days I will give it an honest shot.  So happy this will be the last kiddo to potty train! Rob and I have also been talking about when to switch her to a big girl bed.  Both Ava and Jake switched around 22-23 months, but it was because there was another baby on the way, we were moving, and they were both just too big for a crib.  She hasn't been sleeping too well lately though and I wonder if a bed will help her.  As excited I will be when she's potty trained and more of a "big girl" it's kind of sad to see the baby of our family move out of a crib. So we shall see :)
