Ava's 12th Birthday.....in Quarantine

We made the best of Ava's 12th birthday given the current situation! She had been hoping for months to have the family go to the Melting Pot for her birthday and then do something special with her friends, but she realized weeks ago that wasn't happening.  She instead made her Amazon wish list and picked out her favorite dinner and a Hunger Games cake from Frederick's pastries, and it turned into a fun day for her.

 We opened presents outside, Ava got lots of gift cards from family and neighbors that stopped by, she's been busy shopping online.  We fulfilled her Amazon wish list of art supplies, a burrito blanket and new phone case, and she also got her first bow and arrow set up, hopefully someday soon Rob can take her to practice her archery at his shooting club.

 Next birthday up are the Summer birthdays, Auntie Kimmie, Lilli and YiaYia, let's hope we have more freedom by then! When that day comes Ava will also be collecting on her Melting Pot birthday dinner I'm sure.
