So around 4AM we surrendered and got them up. Rob took Ava to the hospital where they fed her a whole bunch of freeze pops cause they didn't want to hear her screaming either. At least she got an antibiotic and should be better soon. Andrews AFB ER is actually really efficient, there's never anyone there so they get you in and out quick. If you have to be awake all night why not go when you're up already, right?
Good thing they're happy kids during the day!
It poured all day long, it was kind of nice though. I don't think any one family has ever watched more episodes of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse in one day.

Cuddling on the couch watching TV
This baby can eat!! Not too surprising it is? We started him on rice cereal and he loves it, he eats the whole bowl in about 2 minutes. When he's on my lap and I'm eating he opens his mouth and tries to get my food. A couple more weeks and he can start on other stuff besides rice.
If I don't get it in his mouth soon enough he leans forward and hits his chin on the high chair....
With all the rain today we have a river in our backyard again. No matter where we live we always seem to have yard flooding issues. Inspired by our Hawaiian buddy Elena we put some ducks in the river and watched them float away. There was a wicked strong current, and it entertained Ava for a little bit.

Another of our backyard in MD

You may have seen this pic before, this was our front yard in Hawaii. The sprinklers on all the time in the rain didn't help the river situation much either...

Ugh what a night. Love the duck run. And Jake's eating technique. Lunge!
