We had a a great time this weekend at the Marine Corps Ball and hanging out with Kimmie. Kimmie came down so we could go on a kid-free shopping excursion, and she also watched the kids while we went out to the ball.

We went with our friends Sarah and Luke, the ball was Luke's units, since Rob is at a civilian agency and we didn't have one to go to. But they got us into theirs so that was great! 
Ava, Jake and Lilly had a great time playing together. 
They had fun jumping on the extra mattress too.

Since Rob won't be home for Christmas he gave her the gift he picked out for her early :) 
Then Sunday Rob participated in a special Veterans Day service at church so he got dressed up again. Jake and I stayed home to drive Kim and Lilly to the airport.
