This weekend we went to check out George Washington's home at Mount Vernon. We had been there before but only to use the running/biking trails that begin there and go along the Potomac.

Unfortunately we didn't actually make it inside the house because there were so many people there, our tickets were for 2 1/2 hours from when we got there to actually go inside. No strollers were allowed inside either so we would have to hold Jake for the slow moving guided tour and that wouldn't have gone over too well. But we had fun walking around the estate/farm areas.
