We have been enjoying our long weekend and this fall weather finally coming our way. We started the weekend with Friday Movie night as always, which has become homemade pizza night then movie night. Ava loves helping make the pizza, and after I roll the dough out she pretty much finishes it off with sauce, cheese and toppings!
We watched Mulan this week, you would never know Jake had a fever and a bad cough here, he was so happy for have his popcorn and movie!
Saturday we went apple picking in Winchester, VA. This was supposed to be day 1 of a weekend getaway in VA but we cancelled our hotel and the next days plans because it was supposed to rain all day, and since Jake was sick we decided to find another weekend. But it was still good to get out there and go apple picking.
Quality testing
The Rome apple trees were the biggest trees I have ever seen, they had so many apples and they were all so good.
The orchard was very kid-geared and had a huge play area.
